Since starting this blog we have begun to develop a strange new affliction, for which we have developed a new word to describe how we feel - bloguilt.
Bloguilt (blog gilt) n. 1: A sensation of guilt generated by significant time gaps between posts or comments added to ones personal web log. 2: The sensation of guilt generated by a lack of interaction with other web loggers via their web logs.
Any suggestions for a cure? Anyone else suffering out there?

There is another related condition called blogenvy which must be even worse than bloguilt: not having a blog but desperately sure you should have one as your life enhancement programme demands it- and anyway everyone you know from your family and friends to tute groups and book/film clubbers has one. Blogenvy is a condition that can remain permanent until such time as you get off your couch and grasp the nettle. Having made the leap from peeker to poster, it only follows that you become a blogger- or does it? What makes people make that leap? I am still dithering...

To make the leap a litle pinch of self-importance israther helpful - afterall why should the world be interested in what I have to say.

Don't fret Bloguilty and Blogenvy; Blogtherapy ("that's c**p I can do better than that!") and Blogyoga (practiced whilst grasping for creative ideas) will come to your aid soon and all will be peace again. [In blog terms I think I'm a bit of a boy - scared of commitment...]

Along with millions of others I have now joined the blogger world.
Oh dear it is so addictive. I keep changing the themes and adding and removing categories at will. And even worse all the writing mistakes have to be corrected as soon as I spot them. Soon we will have people specialising in blog therapy- which I may well need!
